Our services

AJ Agency provides content creation, videography, photography, short-form video production, UGC content, and related creative services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any project will be agreed in writing between us before work begins — either via a proposal, quote, or separate client agreement.

These Terms of Service govern your general use of our website and relationship with us. For individual projects, our client agreement or proposal will take precedence where there is any conflict.

Payments

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• A deposit is required before work begins. The deposit amount will be stated in your project proposal.

• The remaining balance is due upon delivery of final files or as otherwise agreed.

• Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

• We reserve the right to withhold delivery of final content until payment has been received in full.

Revisions and approvals

The number of revision rounds included in your project will be stated in your proposal. Revisions beyond this may be subject to additional charges. We will always notify you before any additional costs are incurred.

Once you have approved final content in writing, we consider the project complete. We are not responsible for errors or changes requested after final approval.

Intellectual property

Upon receipt of full payment, you will own the rights to the final delivered content for the uses agreed in your project scope. This includes the right to use content across your own social media channels, website, and marketing materials unless otherwise specified.

We retain the right to use content created for you in our portfolio, on our website, and across our social media channels for promotional purposes, unless you have specifically requested otherwise in writing before the project begins.

We retain ownership of all preliminary concepts, unused drafts, and raw footage unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

Confidentiality

We will keep confidential any sensitive business information you share with us in the course of working together. We ask that you do the same in respect of any processes, pricing, or materials we share with you.

Our liability

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. However, we do not guarantee specific results such as follower growth, reach, engagement, or revenue outcomes, as these depend on many factors outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AJ Agency's total liability to you in connection with any project shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that project.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, or reputational damage.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel a project after work has begun:

• Any deposit paid is non-refundable.

• You will be invoiced for any work completed up to the point of cancellation, calculated on a pro-rata basis against the agreed project fee.

• We will retain any work created up to that point unless the outstanding balance is settled in full.

If we need to cancel a project on our end due to circumstances beyond our control, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund any fees paid for work not yet completed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
